Wooden bunny lamp
On the desk lamps the height is judged so the light falls on the work surface rather than in the eyes of whoever is sitting there. The wooden lamps are cut from ash; they stand on a shelf or hang on the wall, and an LED controller with a remote for colour and brightness comes in the box.
Three kinds of light in one room
A child's room rarely does with a single light source. The ceiling light gives the general light you tidy and get dressed by. The desk lamp lights what the child is doing with their hands, and should stand on the opposite side to the writing hand so it does not cast a shadow across the page. The third — a lamp by the bed — is the dimmest, for reading before sleep and for keeping the room from being completely dark at night.
The wooden lamps
Fourteen lamps shaped as a cloud with a sleeping animal, a bear, a bunny, an owl, a star, a rocket, an aeroplane and a car. All are ash wood finished with an acrylic lacquer meeting the PN EN 71.3 standard. They are only 6.2 cm thick, so they can stand on a shelf or hang on the wall — the fixings are included. An LED controller with a remote comes with them: it changes colour and brightness, so the same lamp serves as a night light and as something on a shelf to look at.
Light to work by
At a desk, what matters is that the light falls on the top rather than in the eyes. Desk lamps come in the Admiral, Micasa, Color Mix, Frozen, Plus and SpiderMan collections, so the lamp can be matched to the desk it stands on.
Lighting matched to the furniture
Ceiling, desk and floor lamps come in the Admiral, Rosa, Ballerina, Micasa, Color Mix, Frozen, SpiderMan, Plus and Irony collections. The wooden lamps sit outside the collections and suit any room.
Common questions
How many lamps does a child's room need?
Usually three kinds of light: a ceiling light for tidying and getting dressed, a desk lamp for schoolwork, and a lamp by the bed for reading before sleep. One source rarely does, because each of those jobs needs a different brightness.
Where should a desk lamp stand?
On the opposite side to the writing hand, so the hand casts no shadow across the page. The light should fall on the desktop rather than into the eyes of whoever is sitting there.
Can the wooden lamps be hung on a wall?
Yes. They are 6.2 cm thick, can stand on a shelf or hang on a wall, and the fixings are included. An LED controller with a remote for colour and brightness comes with them. They are made of ash wood finished with an acrylic lacquer meeting the PN EN 71.3 standard.
